Porcelain artist and teacher, Charlene Ferrell Whitler offers a series of seminars in her home studio in Eldorado, IL, and at Rend Lake, IL. If you are interested in any of the seminars listed below, you can

After completing this form, simply mail the completed form and a $50 deposit to Charlene at her studio address listed at the right.

Seminar fees include 3 days of instruction, china, and firing. Accommodations are available 7 miles from the studio in Harrisburg, IL at the Super 8 or Comfort Inn. All meals are at the expense of the student.

Porcelain Painting Studies

Porcelain artist and teacher, Charlene Ferrell Whitler offers a wonderful workshop-series of china painting studies for the porcelain artist and china painter. These studies are excellent for any students working without benefit of a teacher or as a guide for teachers to use in studios. Each of the workshop-series study packets contains an 8X10 color study, line drawings and detailed discussion and painting instruction sheets for completion of the project. Different line drawings are included for other projects. Cost of each study is $5.00

Teaching Background

Charlene teaches seminars in her studio and for groups through out the United States. She has taught at the following schools: Midwest Porcelain Art School, Masters Heritage, Wisconsin State University at Platteville, Kentucky State Convention School, Ohio State Convention School, Illinois State Convention School, Rockhurst University, Cazenovia University, Louisiana Porcelain Art School, and Indiana Porcelain Art School.

Charlene is a sought after teacher and artist, and was the featured artist at the Missouri State Convention of china painters. She has been honored by having her porcelain paintings chosen for exhibition at the WOCP museum in Oklahoma City and she was awarded first prize at the Jackson Purchase Arts Festival in Murray, Kentucky.
