Charlene Ferrell Whitler, Artist and Teacher
Charlene Ferrell Whitler has her studio in Eldorado, Illinois. She has been painting for over 35 years and is both an artist and teacher. Charlene received certifications as a Master Porcelain artist and Master Porcelain Teacher in 1990 from the International Porcelain Artists Association. Charlene has also served as an artist judge for the Missouri and Indiana State Fairs.
Charlene's education includes Eastern Illinois University, Southeaster Illinois College, Maryville College, and Lindenwood College. She has also studied with numerous porcelain artists from the United States and Australia.
Charlene Ferrell Whitler's artwork has been published in numerous articles in "China Decorator" magazine, "Porcelain Artist" magazine, and "China Painter" magazine. She also served as faculty writer for the Teacher Series for IPAT in 1989. Her artwork has also been featured in "Collecting Hand-Painted Limoges Porcelain" by Debby Dubay. |
